August is a great month for artsy activities.
You’ve taken your family vacation. The camps are winding down. Kids are home for another month. It’s time for some local art activities.
Leanne Fink continues her workshop series, “A Toast to Your Inner Artist,” at Corcoran Brewing Company, 205 Hirst Road, Suite 105 in Purcellville. She is teaching monthly classes, each with a different theme and end product.
“My goal is to encourage the individual who thinks they can’t do anything artistic but has an interest and desire to try. I want them to be able to take home their very own masterpiece that has been fun to create.”
The 2016 classes are as follows:
Monoprint Magic and Malt (August 16)
Annie Sloan Saloon (September 20)
Silk and Suds (October 18)
This art workshop series is open to the public. Tickets are available now and may be purchased in advance through Corcoran Brewing at https://squareup.com/store/CorcoranBrewery
